The problem

Every enterprise running AEM and Salesforce faces the same challenge: forms submitted on the website need to flow into Salesforce, but the integration is typically fragile, slow, or requires expensive middleware.

Our Salesforce AEM Connector solves this by providing a native, real-time bridge between AEM forms and Salesforce objects.

How it works

The connector seamlessly integrates with AEM, allowing marketers and developers to create dynamic, fully-integrated forms that automatically sync data with Salesforce.

Real-time data synchronization

Form submissions in AEM are instantly sent to Salesforce, keeping customer records up-to-date. No batch jobs, no delays — data flows the moment a user submits a form.

Customizable form components

Design flexible, branded forms directly in AEM with advanced mapping to Salesforce fields. Authors can configure field mappings through the AEM dialog — no code required.

Multi-object support

Connect forms to various Salesforce objects, including Leads, Contacts, Opportunities, and custom objects. A single form can create or update records across multiple objects simultaneously.

Use cases

Lead generation

Web forms that capture visitor information and instantly create or update Lead records in Salesforce, triggering the appropriate sales workflows.

Event registration

Registration forms that create Contact records, associate them with Campaign objects, and send confirmation emails — all in real time.

Customer support

Support request forms that create Cases in Salesforce with the right priority, category, and routing rules applied automatically.

Architecture

The connector uses an event-driven architecture built on Adobe I/O Events:

  1. User submits a form in AEM
  2. The connector captures the submission and validates the data
  3. A mapping engine transforms AEM fields to Salesforce fields
  4. The Salesforce REST API creates or updates the target records
  5. A confirmation event is sent back to AEM for logging and user feedback

No middleware servers to manage. No polling jobs to monitor. Just clean, real-time data flow.
